Steak Cooking tips

After searing the meat using the SAUTE function, remember to deglaze the pot to prevent a BURN error notice if you are going to cook it till pull-apart tender.

Cooking time will vary a little depending on the thickness.

Always let your steak rest for 3-5 minutes before slicing or eating - It makes the meat so much more tender and allows for the juices to redistribute.

However, over time, it re-absorbs it back in, including the salt with it and incorporating flavor throughout the entire steak.
