The Best Instant Pot Corned Beef and Cabbage Instant Pot

- 3 cloves
- 2 sticks celery
- 6 carrots
- 1 onion
- ½ cup parsley
- ½ cabbage
- 1 pound potato
- 8 peppercorns
- ¼ tsp salt
Insert the Cloves into the side of the onion
Cut the celery into 3 inch stalks
Peel and cut the potato - cut into thirds roughly - put in a water bowl to stop going brown until ready to cook
Place the meat in the potAdd the onion (with the cloves), 2x carrot, celery and bay leaves. Add water up to the 2/3 mark on the instant pot and cook for 75 minutes with a quick release. Take out the meat and vegetables that we used to season and cook with the meat.
Next add in the carrot and potatoes and cook for 5 minutes with 10 minutes of natural pressure release
Now take out the carrot and potato and taste the liquid broth. Season it with salt and pepper and taste again till you are happy. It has a nice taste. Then set the instant pot on to saute and add in the cabbages and boil for approximately 2 minutes.
You are now ready to plate up - cut the corned beef into 1/4 inch thick slices and arrange the vegetables in the plate and pour on about half a cup of broth. Garnish with parsley or similar.
